About The Artwork
This painting is about the widening gap between the rich and the poor; the have's and have not's. The structure of the canvas is arranged in three tiers, three class systems-the lower-the middle and the upper. The central focal point sees a mad bird running too and fro, from the left hand side towards the right; two walls block its safe passage. In the section above a butcher dismembers a corpse, while three people sit at a dinner table, waiting to be served.
