Sometimes and even often during some little wining and dining among friends, conversation deviates about time, years passing over our lives, and … erotic memories. Each one goes by his couplet of confidences "truth or invention" of his real or fantasized erotic accomplishments. Dreams or realities mingle in these memories, but not a single word on libido, especially as damned libido entitles itself the right to take some unplanned leave of absence and per se, without our consent. Knowing my friends well, I had no difficulty to unscramble their prowesses from their fancies. Thus life gets filled and I bitterly clinch to myself irony goes this bit crooked manner: Young, we struggle to shape our lives often lacking time for Love. Once aging and nearing the finish line, one would have more than plenty of time for that, nonetheless Libido is just gone or almost gone. This is mutually unfair to young and old people. Late after the departure of my friends, in my bed, I travel in search of my "Sleepless night for an erotic dream". It was a wonderful night full of colors, love, feelings, and sensations then ... A real book of erotic memories opens in my head, stimulus to quiet a few paintings. Allow me to share this particular one with you: In its lower part a hybrid character man / woman, your feeling, is sealed in into his box. She struggles with the reality of life. At the top: sits our Erotic Dream. The rest of the elements that make up the canvas background with a large part of my pictorial life symbols which I substantiate in my 2nd book "CONVERSATION WITH MY CAT" reflects the mirror image to your underground erotic realm.

Currently member of the French Artists, Independent Artists, Academy of Fine Arts of Saint Louis (Academician Associate). He will leave his homeland 20 years later for France where he still resides. In 1974 he moved to Ivory Coast with frequent trips to Central and West Africa. This has forced him to maintain contact with his relatives and painting, to multiple trips between Africa and France. He has been painting since the 1960s and has produced thousands o work pieces. In February 2003, Simon has left Africa and since then devotes himself fully to his art.
