About The Artwork
This is the 5th piece in my Future Skylines series and focuses on pollution and Industry within a capitalist society. It is also the first piece in the series to depict a night time scene with the degraded areas of the background giving the illusion of illumination. In this piece the damaged canvas of the work is on show with a tear central to the piece. Looking carefully you may see a figure in a top hat within the scene.. a baron of industry looking out over his creations.

I consider myself a left wing humanist and I am interested in art as a means of protest particularly against capitalism and the destruction of our planet. I am very inspired by my time in Australia and New Zealand and like to show respect to other cultures in my work. My style is varied.
