During a trial of my life, I realized the pursuit of my existence is more than just struggle, that I can transcend beyond limits, if my love for Allah SWT is more than the tribulation, then I might be able to get past the time in my life. A Quranic verse reiterates the way God is connected to his being, that remembarance is vital. Whether in the depths of sin, or the height of piety, it is something important. I did an abstract knife painting in the backgrounds of greens and gold leaf, and added the calligraphy on top.
