Jacques Tange is educated at the Academy of Arts in Rotterdam. Characteristics of his development as an artist are continuity, and the repeating process of a deeper evaluation. Inspired by the illuminated handwritings of the Middle Ages, he uses his own imagination and humour in present-day themes.
