Some Kind of Memory Painting

Hi, my name is Anna. Thank you for your interest in my work. I am an abstract artist living and working in Amsterdam, but born and raised in Tbilisi, Georgia. I paint in acrylic, gouache and sometimes in oil, large and small. Painting in abstract gives me a lot of opportunities. It gives me a reflection of my live, my feelings and my visual intake of information. When I am working there is always music on the background that suits my state of mind of that moment. I try to stay true to myself and listen to my intuition while I’m painting. I layer and rework until I am satisfied with the final result, enjoying every part of the process. As a result of this, some of my works were curated by a Saatchi curator from Los Angeles recently. I don’t necessarily want to climb the gallery ladder, but I really want to keep exploring colours, materials and myself.
