Soneto en grises (170970) Painting

The purpose of my existence is to convey the peacefulness that landscape and seascape painting provides to me. Originally from Iquitos, Peru, in the middle of the jungle, where the Amazon River is originates, where the heat overwhelms your senses, my whole infancy was a struggle with the weather. By 15 I decided to change the situation and emigrated to the coast in search of a better living. The beach scenes gave me a relief that I had not felt before. The blues and greys, hardly scene in the jungle, calm me down and gave me a feeling of serenity. Living in the cosmopolitan city of Lima arouse my interest in culture, and I started visiting the local Museums. When visiting the Museo de Arte de Lima, something touch me and wanted to become a painter. Looking for a master, I visited the atelier of the maestro Ladislao Plasencia. It was the perfect fit because he was a kind person and loved classical music, which I started appreciating as well. It did not take long before I was able to paint a proficiently; from there the rest is history, because a notable Art Dealer discover me and promote me and I became known.
