This brightly colored acrylic on canvas painting was created in quarantine, and depicts a woman with her head thrown back below an abstract orange rainbow. As part of a "Hope" series, the rainbow and mark-making symbolize a countdown to better days ahead. Bold gestural marks made with thickly applied paint create a painterly, emotive atmosphere.
