Soul's price Painting

The story of the men coming out of the caves to meet Jesus landing on the coast holds great significance; namely the value the Creator places on our immortal souls. In this oil piece depicting the boat carrying Jesus departing the coast of the Kersa on the sea of Galilee, while the man freed from legion views the pigs on the shore being returned by the tide coming in. It asks us to stretch ourselves to new realities concerning the value of a man and his responsibilities connected to this potential he carries inside him. The inscribed vellum in his knapsack refers to the faith that spread in that area after Jesus departed, most likely due to the confessions of those touched by this miracle as well as those who were financially ruined thereby. I hope to remind all who see it of the faith of our savior and His love for all of us.
