'Sounding Movements' Painting

A bit back, I was in my studio painting. I heard sleigh bells. Opening my studio door, wandering around the corridors trying to follow the sound, I turned the corner and two women were dancing, practicing their movements. The one in blue had a crown on her head of sticks like antlers. Little bells were attached, and sounded with each subtle movement. They smiled, and allowed me to watch them practice. The magic, the grace, the beauty surrounded me. My head was filled with what I just witnessed, I returned to my studio, drew two small sketches and presented them to my inspirational muses, and I painted the moment in the painting I entitled 'sounding movement' It has been in my private collection, I have enjoyed it and now it is time to offer it for others to enjoy. My memory is still vivid of my encounter with these remarkable performers.
