About The Artwork
A series of works based on the move of Stanley Kubrick's "2001: a Space Odyssey". The main character went on a flight to Jupiter to explore the alien Monolith and he gets a contact with him. At the time of the film, people were not familiar with the actual view of the planet Jupiter and 49 years later I made changes to the visual part of the film. The paintings are based on a large number of photos sent from NASA satellite Juno and repeat the motive of atmospheric waves and storms distant planet.
