This painting was inspired after I dropped a glop of hummus on the kitchen floor. I decided to add the swooshes and color to make the splats and drips more interesting (creative license, ha, ha!) I hope viewers of this work enjoy the colors and find it fun. Since the edges are painted, this canvas can be hung framed or unframed.

After a 40-year career in the corporate world I retired in order to return to my earlier endeavors in the creative arts; including painting, drawing and writing. When I was in high school, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, I began creating art works. This continued through college. Once I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee I entered the business world and shortly thereafter began raising my family. As a result I completely stepped away from my creative side. Now, as planned, I work on something creative essentially every day.
