Spring Symphony Painting

I love art with texture, I also love it when art is something everyone sees in their own way. I couldn't begin to tell someone what they should feel when they see it, I just hope that it evokes something. I wanted this to have a soft, feminine feel to it. Whenever I begin a painting I start with an idea, and then miraculously along the way whether a slight of hand or twist of fate something happens that is even better than I had planned. . Life is full of happy accidents. In this particular painting I used heavy body acrylic paints, some mixed with pigment powder, as well as heavy mediums, I threw in some sand to give it added grit and sealed it with an archive satin finish.
