Spring on Peralta Painting

I am a self-taught painter and mixed media artist located in Williamstown, Massachusetts, USA. My journey as a dedicated artist began with reclaimed and repurposed materials in effort to reduce waste by not consuming new materials to produce artwork. I still do this kind of work between painting projects, always in the abstract, but more and more, scenery and landscapes possess me and pull me to the canvas. I strive to be original and to epitomize out-of-the-box thinking by devising new techniques and approaches to each new piece. My abstract work allows me to embody this philosophy a bit more than my figurative art, but there still I am motivated by the prospect of developing a style all my own.
