About The Artwork
Hello, you are welcome in this little colorful world! Sprites & little Monsters are fantasy characters that can be considered as humorous friends, who keep joking company to the viewers. They simply arise from my imagination and are sketched and painted on Hahnemühle paper within a context created by the explosive juxtaposition of brushstrokes and composition of lines and color tones. Maybe for this reason, these compositions express an ironic charme with a hint of fairytale. The substance of these silhouettes is to distract us from loneliness through a lighthearted aesthetic. A human condition that belongs to us on a personal level and that is deeply felt in our time. But no fear of solitude – fantasy is already an emphatic company ;)
