About The Artwork

Petersburg - a city of the northern winds, white nights, cloudy sky, great history - The Peter and Paul Fortress on the pic is the original and first citadel of St. Petersburg, founded by Peter the Great in 1703. Nowadays the gorgeous city is the capital of Imperial strengh, Culture and Art. It inspires with its grandeur and inaccessibility. Almost every day, the skyes are covered with clouds, there are only a few days when you can see sky as viewed during daylight. But sometimes, if you walk along the embankment near the Hermitage in the early morning or in the everning, you can catch another city - not grey and gloomy, but fresh, soaring, melting, romantic. This is on of that magical moments.
