Still life in three parts Painting

This is part of a group of paintings based on a Spanish still life, where one or many objects were placed on a flat plane or window and suspended by string often in a crescent shape. I have moved this on with the added tension created by the string. This string implies someone or something outside of the painting, influencing the way the subject reacts. Is it a puppet? Or a trap? Or is it a vision of impending exterior influence on the object. These are all “still life with string” I never mention the obvious danger, tension or object itself. This adds to the underlying sense of disquiet the object creates.
