The idea of the painting was to express passing nature of life and ever-present sttillness at the same time. I created the artwork in a more spontenous way, using impastos, gestures, interactions of colours and variety of tools... brushes, palette knife.The matter of paints is dense. My aim was also to accord dynamics and harmony. Oil on linen canvas. Ready to hang, no frame needed. The highest quality of materials used. Hand stretched and prepared linen canvas ("de luxe"). In early years of my artistic activity I was interested in visual, metaphorical interpretation of human existence. Now I explore possibities of non-figurative painting. I treat color and compositions as a means to concentrate energy, create signs of silence, openness, brightness, something which is beyond empirical experience. Sometimes the process of painting resembles meditation or prayer, very precise and intense movement of consciousness and hand. Sometimes it is like dancing with its expression, spontaneity, liberation. Colors,light,abstract,ordered or vibrant forms and compositions may heal distracted mind, focus perceptions and lift it to other levels or dimensions.
