Original acrylic painting on stretched canvas. Like Developing Storm, this painting is filled with the drama of a storm rolling toward you. In, Storm Rolling In I worked to capture the drama and electricity of a developing thunderstorm. The grays, sage greens, and blues are complemented by a gold hue made with pyrrde orange, cadmium yellow and quinacridone rose. Like waves rolling in, these clouds carry a great deal of force. The altocumulus volutus are dark and brooding and reminds us of rough seas that may take our breath away (while at the same time thrill us beyond words
