About The Artwork
"Stormy Sea" is a breathtaking painting, captured on a canvas measuring 70x90 cm. The painting depicts a rocky shore by the sea. On the right side, a small stone is about to be overwhelmed by a massive foamy wave. The wave crashes down on him, completely engulfing him before receding, leaving a trail of frothy foam in his wake. On the left, coming out of the water, you can see a sharp rocky formation that goes further into the sea. Seething foam almost completely covers it, not reaching the shore. In the foreground, a beautiful blue wave with shades of pinkish-gray foam captivates the viewer's attention. The wave seems to be only a few steps away from reaching the viewer, only to recede, showering him with spray and the smell of salt water. The greyish-lilac sky seems to be intermittently dissected by sun glare, but this fleeting moment quickly passes, merging with clouds and fog on the left side.
