The story of cotton was created from a visual in a film on slavery and forced labor in cotton fields. The face is turned away, and the back shows some scars. This artwork was created during the Pandemic and is part of the series of artworks called 'closer'. The global pandemic has pushed us apart in the distance; it has brought us closer in our relationships in many ways. And this is one thing we hope endures long after the crisis is behind us.These Artworks were created during the Pandemic and also the Black lives movement. This series of artworks express connectivity, equity, and hope.
