This is one of seven horizontal triptychs, which all could be vertically connected. Each "line" consists of 3 canvases From the left going right; 2 canvases 36" x 36" and one 12" x 36" This is #1 with number 2,4,6 going down and 3,5,7 going up Being self taught comes with some enlighten moments. I started with the piece on the the right not having any idea where this could take me. The world triptych was at that time not a word in my vocabulary. But when that was ready, I asked myself what now?! And then I came to think about that there was a word...trip something. So, I went to an art store and bought two square canvases and started lining them using the lines and the colors from the first peace. After having applied paint and removed the masking tape, I saw a city growing under my hands and the title, STREETS, BLOCKS & NEIGHBORHOOD or SBN for short came to me. Then I marked each individual piece as to its location....

If you just want something over the sofa or your bed, my original art is most likely not for you - as it is most of the times not big enough. Though I have some pieces... The combination of the title and my creation give most pieces of my art A MEANING, IT HAS CONTENT. I am born in Sweden and live in the USA since 2001 and Texas since 2011. I create pictures using my life experiences, often mingled with my present inner feelings and a kind of Scandinavian simplicity of design. The title is placed beneath the image to let the words interact with the design above - the viewer's brain then produces the full picture. How long does it take me to make one of my pieces? A lifetime - all my experiences have shaped the way I create. Looking back at my art, I realize that many of the individual pieces are time documents of my whereabouts in life. This is the way I paint. Each piece is original. And just like my life, it never gets boring.. I moved to Mexico in August 2018.
