The paintings from this series are based on the concept that we use to play God and not even realizing it. In a very laic understanding, not a religious one, we all have tremendous power over the things that surrounds us, and this power can profoundly change everything. Like in the butterfly effect metaphor, the smallest choices that we make will influence events and lives around us. And from here comes a huge responsibility that we must be aware of – our actions will impact everything we touch - people, animals, nature, the whole world. We have a great power, and we must be very careful of how we use it. The golden aura is used here as a symbol of “the one who performs miracles”, but the “numbers” of my “saints” are meant to bring the character back to secular and profane. We can perform small “miracles” every day without being a divinity, just being mindful and kind. Additional info: This painting is created on canvas stretched on wood bars; the back of the painting looks like the last photo uploaded in the image gallery. The painting is unframed and has unfinished edges. Hanging / installation hardware is not included. On the back, the painting will have a sticker that will include the author’s logo, the title of the painting and the date of completion (month | year). A signed Certificate of Authenticity will be included. The painting is signed on front and on the back. The colors may look a little bit different depending on your screen color/ luminosity /contrast settings.
