Lucid dreaming, as its name suggests, is a state in which the individual is aware that they are dreaming while sleeping. Among many of their qualities, shamans are characterized by developing the ability to develop spiritually in sleep to enter other dimensions. The MOTHER of the Lucid Dream represents the supreme experience that a Shaman goes through to establish contact with the spiritual world. The composition of this piece is a reinterpretation that refers to the different stages that the Shaman goes through constantly and deliberately within the dream to achieve the transcendental journey. At the same time, my goal is to capture the aesthetics of clothing designs made by women from many indigenous communities and whose symbolisms have to do with those mystical experiences acquired by their spiritual guides, generally incarnated as shamans. I name MOTHER to the largest piece of the same family within the series whose characteristics stand out both in format and composition and makes a hierarchical reference to the rest of the pieces of the same name. LUCID DREAM MOTHER "The Mural" is a rectangular artwork made of a 380 cmø x 180 cm x 5 cm edge canvas panel divided into two equal pieces of 180 cm x 180 cm x 5 cm, which is why it is considered a diptych and it is ready to hang.
