About The Artwork
I was inspired by living in the rain forest which is the Blue Ridge Mtns near Asheville, NC. It would rain every afternoon in the summer and it was lush with vegetation. I used a naive primitive style and in it's simplicity I hope to communicate with the viewer the simple beauty of a summer day in the rainforest. The oil on canvas is unstretched and will be shipped in a tube.
