“Sunset” 50*100 cm Painting

Looking back, I see a lot of work was done to get just a little closer to the profession of my dream… I have been drawing since my school age, I love this job very much. I saw a picture and the something missed a beat in my head ‘’I wanna draw it!’’ If there was a subject where I can draw in notebooks, it was the best for me. I adored keeping diaries and always drew there, making covers and beautiful pages. I liked neatness, so I’ve never had bad marks for Art lessons. I drew wall newspapers at school and a camp, I always had a responsible task to draw during quiet hour, while everyone was sleeping, I was free. At the weekends at home I learnt to draw on my own. I draw from books of watercolors or my animals. I wanted to be an interior designer, but all design departments were paid. I went to study where I entered for free, it was Stroganov Moscow State Academy of Arts and Industry, the department of Economics. I just wanted to get the certificate of degree, then start the design courses and finally become a designer. I’ve never been a humanist, I also liked exact Science, Algebra and Geometry. I passed the exams without any preparation, and my knowledge of Math helped me to enter the University. After the university I studied at the school of painting a bit, then I took several specialized design courses and got a job into Stas Orekhov’s design studio. For me, as a beginner, it was an amazing place to work! I remember our cozy studio with great warmth. And also we all still communicate with each other. I have worked there for 5 years. Almost all work for a designer is a computer, drawings, visualizations, not many stores and a construction. A little creation and work with hands. But notwithstanding I really like this profession and design is interesting out of all variety. But I wanted to be creative. I realized exactly I want to become an artist, paint pictures and sell them. I spent a long time choosing the place where to go to study, read reviews about different academies in the Internet… The decision that I need to get higher education at the University of Art came to me immediately. I spent hours surfing the Web, searching for information where to study and finally became aware of the best training is at Stroganov Moscow State Academy of Arts and Industry (and also there are more hours and subjects there).
