Hello! My name is Lu Brunet, expressionist artist based in Barcelona, Spain. For me painting is talking about time, about time trapped in a limited space, a unique moment, an intimate moment. My common thread is the landscape, a more dreamlike than descriptive landscape, shaped by emotions and memories, bathed in the moments of light that permeate my retina to meet the pleasure of feeling. Moments that give me life. Sensations that emerge from within me and I try to capture on the canvas. The paintings are atmospheric landscapes that seek a personal expression, a dialogue between nature and pictorial expression that approaches abstraction.
