About The Artwork
My daily walks through the Sonoma countryside and farmlands inspire me and my art. I love the variety, textures and play of light on the land. Connecting with nature and being part of it is key to my love of life. I want to share my joy and delight with the viewers in the hopes that they too will feel connected to something larger and more deeply to their own life. I work with acrylic paints because of their ease of use and safety in the studio. I love the versatility of the medium. Canvas has become my choice of substrate because of its lighter weight and easier storage and shipping. This piece is done on primed unstretched canvas and can be hung tapestry style or put on stretcher bars as there is a border ample enough to do whatever the buyer desires.
