This series of paintings is inspired by summer days and nights spent in water - backyard pools and lakes. Water is my ultimate source of inspiration in life. I am always looking to capture the feelings of being enveloped by aqua, diving into reflective worlds, and the feeling of oneness and freedom. "Surfacing 1" is 48" x 48" 2", painted in acrylics via an abstract, expressionist style that makes the brush work and vibrant play of interacting colors the subject. Metalic gold paint also accents this work.
