This painting was done while watching a tutorial. It was done while on the New Jersey beach. The sand in front of the wave on the left side was mixed with gold paint. The gold is very noticeable in the original painting. Very pretty

I’m an Oklahoma artist. I’ve lived in Florida for the last 35 years however but still feel like an Okie! I have always admired paintings by other artists and thought I should try my hand at it. It turns out I have some talent and I’ve done some great paintings. I’ve sold a few some I would have preferred to keep but a great teacher once told me we shouldn’t get too attached to our paintings. So I sell some occasionally. Some I’ve given away. I never really learned to paint but did take a few classes in watercolor painting several years back. I hope to illustrate beautiful scenery for people to enjoy.
