Sweet Days of Summer Painting

“Sweet Days of Summer” This painting is the second work created as part of my 'Secret Gardens' series, inspired by the painting ‘Olivia's Garden’ from Quebec's famous painter Alfred Pellan. In this painting, I imagined the wonderful and mysterious underworld of a flower garden that could be revealed to us if we could see a cross-section of it. This abstract expressionist painting features a blue sky over an abstract flowers and leaves garden. Underneath, you can discover the magical underground with colorful roots made of abstract organic shapes and detailed patterns (lines, polka dots, circles, etc.), in a bold and vibrant multicolored palette. This painting really has a happy, cheerful and optimistic summer (or spring) vibe. Dimensions: Artwork is 45.5 x 28 inches (115.6 x 71.1 cm) Plus an extra 1.5” (3.8 cm) white border all around, for ease of stretching/framing Orientation: Horizontal Medium: Mixed media (acrylic paint, oil pastels, paint markers). On unstretched cotton canvas primed with four coats of gesso. Sealed with two coats of glossy varnish. Signature on front Title, year and signature on back Shipped rolled and carefully packaged in a sturdy tube. Can easily be re-stretched or framed by your local framing shop.
