About The Artwork
This painting was created using Encaustic Wax Medium, pigments, and Shellac. A gas torch was used to fuse each of the multiple layers of wax. "Sweet Potatoes" was created for my second series of wax paintings in 2015 and is one of the last left of that series... I was never shown due to space limitations.
