Swirly 1 Painting

My "Blind Art" series constitutes a method of painting that I find quite fascinating. Based on an idea that maybe some of our most famous classic artists may have painted without corrective lenses or glasses, thus creating art that seemed "out of focus." Continuing with this idea, I painted the foundation for all of these paintings without wearing corrective lenses, aka "blindly." Then, I later wore corrective lenses and I enhanced them still maintaining the original integrity of each painting. Despite my natural poor vision, I found these incredibly fun to paint, because even my brush and paints were blurry. Since I really had very little idea of what I just painted until I put in my lenses, each painting was a delightful surprise. They surprisingly look like psychedelic art that contain alot of movement.
