About The Artwork
"Synevyr" is the most famous lake in the Ukrainian Carpathians. There is a legend about "Synevyr" lake. The legend of a young girl who cried a whole tears lake over the death of her beloved. The lake is blue in winter and green in spring. This is due to the transparency of the lake and the environment, depending on the weather, the lake changes color. Therefore, I have 2 pictures of the same place at different times of the year. This work was done during a difficult period in my life when my aunt was in the last stages of cancer, and I tried to raise money in various ways, including the sale of paintings. My aunt was gone, but the paintings remained and they contained my hope to help a loved one.
