! I painted this abstract to hang horizontally and vertically ! THINKING OUTSIDE THE H42"XW58"XD2.25" (horizontal) or THINKING OUTSIDE THE H58"XW42"XD2.25" (vertical) acrylic with resin on canvas Grey wood floater frame 43"X59.25"XD2.5" I never start a painting with a plan. I hug the canvas before me, bow my head in reverence and kiss it. Then I start. In this painting I played with shades of grey long before the best seller book took the world by storm. It is a calm, powerful piece full of strength and perseverance. It is my reminder to not just take the well worn path but rather to THINK OUTSIDE THE box and explore and experiment. Expanding myself by breaking the self imposed boundaries that box me in both mentally and physically gives this painting its breath. This painting has much to reveal.
