I love the work of Rene Magritte and often try and explore thoughts and concepts that he explored in my own, peculiar way. The idea of a large wooden table that could not possibly float intrigued me and I imagined a table out at sea, elegantly set for a dinner. A man's hat and a woman's shawl can be seen on the two chairs. It creates a bit of a mystery. Where are the people? Why is the table out on the ocean in the middle of nowhere. It's a striking visual that also contains a story.
