Te Araroa Trail in the South Island Painting

Impression from New Zealand and Te Araroa trail. Somewhere along the way in the north parts of South Island, in the Mount Richmond Forest Park. This is my interpretation of my brother's Pblo photography ( https://www.instagram.com/pblo28/ ) I tried to capture the mood of the moment and place and flow with it while painting. The painting has some impasto. Sometimes I used painting knife and also mixed colours directly on the canvas. Oil on cotton 80 x 60 cm 2020 Signed on the front ( "Fladrif 2020" ) and on the back [ "Wojciech Pater (Fladrif) 2020" ] Top-quality 100% cotton canvas stretched over a solid wooden bars. The painting is still too fresh to be varnished with the final varnish. I can apply a thin layer of Retouching Varnish upon request - message me after purchase. This will extend the shipping time by approximately 2 days as the resin has to dry out. It is not necessary and can be done on your own later, for example when framing. The Final Varnish can be applied after at least a year since this painting was finished. Based on years of experience, I use only the best quality artist paints - Royal Talens and Maimeri and verified, traditional painting mediums. Sides of the painting are not painted and they are splattered with paint (not much, mostly on the bottom), but the painting is ready to hang also without a frame, if that's preferred. SHIPPING: The painting will be carefully packed and secured in a strong cardboard box and protective layers - acid-free certificated paper and PE foams.
