Temptation Painting

This picture appeared during a period of deep reflection on the biblical stories about the temptation of the first people, Adam and Eve, by the serpent. I always thought that these Old Testament myths were a metaphor. And they hide a deeper philosophical meaning. After studying many hypotheses on this topic, I found answers to my questions in agni yoga. Initially, humanity had no physical bodies, only astral ones, in which there was a channel of psychic knowledge - the "third eye". Living on Earth, the body began to condense, and the channel of knowledge, to close. What caused the division of people on the mental plane. The tendency of individuals to general and abstract thinking led to the development of men, the tendency to particular and concrete-to the development of women. Humanity was divided into two opposite principles, having tasted physical food (forbidden fruit) with physical bodies. Thus predestining the disintegration into yin-yang. But the immortal Soul in each of us has no gender, no race, no concept. At the level of the Soul, we are all one. Then, in 2005, this hypothesis seemed true to me. Now I have supplemented my understanding of the universe with Vedic knowledge.
