Tequila, Limes, and Shot Glasses Painting

Part of a series of Classical Realist style still life, Tequila, Limes, and Shot Glasses was inspired by the celebration of someone's life through toasting to their memory. My hope is that my viewers will continue to appreciate the beauty in simple objects that inspires me. There is so much beauty around us, we just need to stop and reflect upon it. The medium is traditional oil paints done in a classically realistic style. The substrate is a Belgian linen canvas. I chose these specifically because of the quality of the materials and the enduring nature of the materials which can survive for hundreds of years.
