About The Artwork

That's the Point challenged me to recognize the core of the message and find the central meaning or main idea in my own life. It reminded me that there is often a central point or key realization in life that brings everything together and provides clarity and direction. The painting invited me to question my own perspective and find the central point in the complex facets of life.

Color is the essence of my pictures. It shows a superposition of snapshots in different layers and textures. These reflect the metamorphoses of life and my socializations. My art wants to encourage you to constantly reinvent yourself. It is “infinito” – which means both unfinished and infinite. Vita Markus Prummer is a visual artist from Germany who has quickly become known among art collectors and galleries for his colorful and expressive paintings. It drives him to constantly reinvent himself. Because nothing is complete. It is therefore inevitable for him to adopt different perspectives, as the viewers continually discover in his abstract paintings. His life and his interests are just as complex as his art, which reflects this philosophy of life. As a “creative mind”, he combines different fields of activity as a doctor of art historian and exhibition curator and is always looking for multi-faceted, new projects. The painter, who was born in Landsberg am Lech and currently works in Nuremberg, combines elements from “pop and urban art”, “abstract neo-impressionism”, “abstract neo-expressionism” and his intuition. The stylistic devices used are the mostly eye-catching and bright colors, which he applies opulently and spontaneously, using unconventional techniques, without depicting them realistically. They give his unique pieces ean ethereal atmosphere with which the self-taught artist inspires his audience at exhibitions.
