The Art Of Lazing On A Sunday Painting

It was many years ago when I was a kid . It was the summer holidays and my father decided to take us fishing. We groaned and grumbled all the way to the countryside as it was 4:30 in the morning. To top that we were told to keep quiet and still so as not to frighten the fish . A little later as the Sun broke through , a local kid came to fish across the pond . It’s a memory I have come back to many a times . I didn’t appreciate the quite of that morning, the gentle warmth of the Sun or the sheer laziness of the day but as an adult I have learnt to appreciate the simple joys of a quite morning and a lazy day !
