This work is part of the series “Redeemable in gold” in which use dollar bills of different value and combine with image from the history of art and the NNAA and global economy, as part of a critical vision on the issuance of dollars in the U.S. The attachment to money and the crises generated by the financial suppory itself. This work was inspired by the famous cartoon figure the bad boys, to establish a humorous analogy with the “boys” of the federal reserve and their emissions of money withouth backing in gold. Is a subtle irony to the profuction and circulation of money in capitalism and a critique of the love of money wrapped in that permanent dynamic.
