The Black Fox and the Golden Tree Painting

The inspiration for the painting was the tale of the black fox. The fox lived in a forest valley, hunted, played, ate and slept. His life was clear and prosperous. But one day he met a man who told the fox about a wonderful tree that fulfills wishes. The tree grows high in the mountains. It feeds from a magical spring, its golden roots dissect the rocks, and the trunk rests against the clouds. The leaves of the tree are green on one side and golden on the other. And once a year at sunset they rustle, asking travelers the most important question in their lives. The fox wondered what was the most important question in his life. And he went on a journey to the golden tree.
