A person, an emotion, an emoticon, an affection, a projection of warmth. We are our emotions, or our identity is shaped by the emotions we've felt through the experiences life has given us, from the love and affection we've been given or denied. The feelings they've evoked define who you are today, and how you handle them will determine who you'll be tomorrow. A healing affection is as important to receive as it is to know how to accept. We do things out of love and affection, which is most important. We do things out of revenge, but that leads to our destruction. Seeking success in revenge. The things we do to gain affection can also destroy us, especially those seeking the love of the people we cherish most. We don't understand things we're not yet able to comprehend, and we rush to claim affection by proving we're superior, by earning a lot of money, by gaining recognition. All these are inventions of our time, and in exchange, we don't achieve what we desire. We perpetuate this world. Behind one mountain, there's another, and then another, and it never ends that way. What is a mountain? A mother. What's behind the last mountain? Your own mother. You'll always be that child seeking his mother's smile.
