Pivotal painting from my series, Sectional Memories, marked the longest span, a decade that we lived in one place. My world expanded beyond the confines of our apartment and this aerial view plots this activity. My painting technique alternates between layering and removal to layering as an analogy to painted walls that representing new tenants, new lives within city dwellings. Unframed. Painted edges.

I'm an aspiring contemporary artist drawn to exploring conceptual, evocative themes through my paintings. My work is deeply rooted in personal historical references, such as memories of childhood; that are at times dark and intensely moving; which I take apart and reconstruct through a fluid, architectural language that is scaleless, yet layered with personal view of my experiences.
