ABOUT THE ARTWORK

I go inspired by the phrase “lovebirds” which represents two people in love. The origin of the phrase “lovebirds” came from a species of small parrots that are very fond of their mate. They get their name from the strong affection they show for their partner often sitting next to them almost or all the time. The story of lovebirds is a beautiful one. It is said that when a male lovebird finds a mate, he will court her by bringing her food and performing a dance. Once the female accepts his advances, they will become inseparable and spend most of their time together. They will even sleep next to each other and groom each other's feathers. The lovebirds' story is a reflection of human character. Just like lovebirds, humans also crave companionship and affection. We seek out relationships that bring us joy and comfort, and we strive to build strong bonds with those we love. However, just like lovebirds, humans can also experience heartbreak and loss. When a lovebird loses its mate, it can become depressed and even die of a broken heart. Similarly, humans can also experience grief and sadness when they lose someone they love. Overall, the story of lovebirds teaches us about the importance of love and companionship in our lives. It reminds us to cherish the relationships we have and to appreciate the love and affection that others bring into our lives. The most important reason to buy a painting like "The Clasp" is because it brings joy and beauty into your life. Owning a piece of art that you love and appreciate can enhance your living space and provide a source of inspiration and contemplation. Whether you are a serious collector or simply someone who appreciates the beauty of art, "The Clasp" is a painting that is sure to delight and captivate.
