About The Artwork
This painting iis from a memory of walking in the woods and glimpsing a clearing up ahead. It was so vivid to me that I tried to recreate the feeling of discovery so that the viewer could also experience my elation. The painting is done with broad strokes of the palette knife and acrylic paint. It is on heavy paper, not framed - I leave that choice to the new owner.
