The Day I Killed Generations of Flies Painting

"The Day I Killed Generations of Flies Because My Neighbor Downstairs Didn't Take Out the Trash" is a commemorative piece of a specific day in my life. One day in September when things are hot and slow, I see one or two flies on the window. I quickly kill before they land on anything else. Then I notice more flies. No idea where they're getting in. I'm alert with a swatter and outnumbered. I'm sweating from this cardio workout. Worried that the battery in the swatter may run out, but it didn't. I figured out as the day went on that I can spend about 30 mins to an hour killing will buy me about the same amount of time of no flies. I go in the studio and do whatever I can, honestly I don't even know what I did in the studio that day. By 6 or 7 o'clock when the sun is slowly setting and getting dark, there's less flies in the apartment. My wife is home and she's told me she killed a few before she left for work. We have no idea where these fuckers came in from, other than maybe somebody didn't take their trash out. The next day, I see the neighbor below me taking out their trash. Now I have this whacky flies story and this painting.
