ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The Empress R painting is exploring themes of innocence and sexuality. The red leather mask with rabbit ears is seen here as a symbol of playful, childlike innocence, while the white dress suggest purity and virginity. However, the cut-out holes for the eyes and mouth, and the overall suggestive nature of the painting advocate a darker, more sexualized interpretation which was my intention. This artwork from the beginning was intended to be seen as a provocative exploration of identity, innocence, and sexuality, inviting the viewer to question their own assumptions and beliefs.

"My work as an artist, Patryk Kuleta aka Trynidada aka BOSSCO, is a celebration of colour, form, and emotion. I believe that art should evoke a response in the viewer and my goal is to create pieces that are not only visually stunning but also thought-provoking. I draw inspiration from the world around me, including nature, culture, and personal experiences, and translate these inspirations into vibrant and surreal compositions.
