The Empress - The archetype of the Empress will be familiar to most of us. A life-giver, a creator, a source from which all life has sprung. The Empress represents the desire within every living thing to grow and flourish. This is what I channeled in producing this piece. Meticulously composed, and layered to produce a harmonious artwork, centered around the themes and meanings behind The Empress, to create beauty but also emanate positivity. An eclectic mix of styles and genres, media and techniques. Hand constructed solid wooden frame/stretcher and painted on 10oz primed canvas. Signed and dated on reverse.
